Opened in 1969, Plutaluang Royal Thai Navy Golf Course is situated about 40 minutes from Pattaya. The club consists of four 9 hole courses which players can choose accordingly, caddies are more than happy to advise you which courses are best suited to you based on your handicap or ability.

The course, regardless of being a slightly older style design is appealing, challenging and enjoyable to play. The 36 holes here loop the large body of water in the centre of the course which attracts a wide array of wildlife. This is a municipal course which is very well kept, and delivers risk-reward course management for all levels of players.

The 4 nines are named after the points of the compass with North & South making up the original 18, the East and West 9’s were added in the mid-1990s. The fairways are fairly forgiving and permit you the opportunity to have a go. The greens are quick, and bunkers of variable sizes pepper the course. Rather uncommonly for a modern-day golf course, Plutaluang Navy Golf Course uses Zoysia grass, which provides deep rough for wayward shots.

The refurbished clubhouse is well laid out with well maintained lockers and showers. The restaurant has excellent views across the course and surrounding hills and the drinks and Thai food are reasonably priced.

This is an enjoyable course to play if you are searching for a peaceful day out in beautiful surroundings.
