Burapha Golf Club is one of the finest golf courses in the area and has previously hosted the Thailand Open along with many other professional tournaments. The four 9-hole courses are set amongst rolling hills, natural lakes and tropical woodland which combine to make some of the most attractive layouts in all of Thailand. Pattaya golf travellers can enjoy their golf in a very serene and traditional Thai setting.

An 18-hole round is usually played on either the East (A-B) Course or the West (C-D) Course, although occasionally the starters may mix and match 9’s to keep it interesting. The A and C nines feature wider fairways and fewer hazards making them more suitable for beginner golfers. The B nine is a little more difficult and the D nine is a challenge for even the more advanced golfer.

The Dunes nine is the most spectacular and includes the highest point on the Burapha property between the 6th and 7th holes where there is a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding countryside. The Pattaya City high-rise condominiums, Laem Chabang port, the Bay of Thailand and large offshore islands are all in clear view. The magnificent clubhouse of the neighbouring Laem Chabang Golf Club is also visible.

The courses are sprinkled with water hazards but none are hidden from view or require very long shots to clear. The rough can be challenging and the clinging semi-rough around the greens joins forces with good-quality bunkering to put a premium on hitting the assorted-sized greens in regulation. Elevated tee boxes give excellent views of the holes laid out below. The caddies are friendly and most speak English well, many of them have worked there for years and can help you read the tricky greens.

The Burapha clubhouse serves reasonably priced local and international food in the golfers' restaurant. For non-golfers, there is a wide range of facilities, such as swimming pools, tennis courts, and exercise equipment. The locker rooms are adequate for most Pattaya golfers, though nothing fancy (unlike the neighbouring Laem Chabang Golf Club’s first-class facilities).
